Our cardiologists specialise in treating the heart and associated cardiovascular system. Our team is highly qualified with local and overseas experience providing expertise in all areas of cardiology dealing with general cardiology, complex cardiac conditions, and various interventional aspects. We provide services including but not limited to cardiac rhythm disorders, structural heart disease, congenital heart disease, heart failure, cardiac imaging, and coronary interventions.
Following a comprehensive assessment, our doctors work closely with patients to plan the best possible management and devise a meticulous follow-up care to ensure a patient stays as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
MedAlliance is located in the heart of Albury. Our site also has a full diagnostic suite, including stress echocardiography, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, pacemaker and defibrillator testing and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. Consultations and Investigations can be arranged through referral.

Frequenly asked questions
All patients are required to complete a Patient Registration Form, and appointments must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are not accepted at this time.
Preparation instructions vary, but generally, you’ll need to fast and may need to take a bowel preparation solution. Detailed instructions will be provided when your appointment is booked.
For most procedures like gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or capsule endoscopy, fasting is required. For monitoring tests like Holter or 24-hour BP, normal eating and drinking is usually fine. Specific instructions will be provided ahead of your appointment.
A Holter Monitor is a portable device that continuously records your heart’s electrical activity over 24 to 48 hours to detect irregular heart rhythms or other cardiac concerns.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to allow easy placement of the monitor. Avoid showering or swimming while wearing the device.
- 24-Hour BP / Holter Monitor: Setup takes about 15–20 minutes.
- Echocardiogram: Around 30–45 minutes.
- Stress Echocardiogram: About 45–60 minutes.
- Gastroscopy / Colonoscopy: 20–45 minutes, but allow time for recovery.
- Capsule Endoscopy: Capsule is swallowed in the clinic and monitored remotely throughout the day.
- Oesophageal Manometry: Around 30 minutes.
Sedation is used for procedures like gastroscopy and colonoscopy. You will be monitored and cared for by our experienced medical team during the process.
Results are usually sent to your referring doctor within a few days. Urgent results may be expedited and discussed sooner if necessary.
If you’ve had sedation (e.g., during a colonoscopy or gastroscopy), you will not be allowed to drive. Please arrange for someone to accompany you and take you home safely.
Device interrogation checks the function of implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers or defibrillators. It ensures the device is operating correctly and collecting useful data.
